There is renewed tension in the already heated Plateau State as the crisis rocking the state took a new turn. Senator Gyang Dalyop Datong, the Senator of Plateau North District was on Sunday killed by gunmen while he was attending a burial.
The Senator was attending the mass burial of scores of people who were killed by Fulani herdsmen while taking refuge in the house of a Pastor in Matse area of Riyom in Plateau State.
