From the star with the most enviable body, to the up-and-comer to watch, to a much-anticipated comeback, we're counting down summer 2012's hottest women of Hollywood in our HuffPost Heat Wave challenge.

So, how did these ladies make the cut? We painstakingly perused countless bikini photos, summer movie trailers, red carpets and checkout-lane headlines to narrow down our "Who's hottest?" pool.

World's Heaviest Woman Loses 98 Pounds With Marathon Sex

At a staggering 50st, Pauline weighed in at the world's heaviest woman after gorging on a diet of 10,000 calories   each day

Pauline Potter became the world's heaviest living woman last year, weighing in at a whopping 643 pounds. Now, Potter has her sights set on losing weight, and she's turned to marathon sex sessions to help shed the pounds.

 In an interview with the UK's Closer magazine, Potter described how her reignited sex life with ex-husband Alex has helped her lose 98 pounds. “I can’t move much in bed, but I burn 500 calories a session –- it’s great exercise just jiggling around," Potter told Closer. Potter, who had been consuming 10,000 calories a day, hopes to reach her goal weight of 532 pounds with the help of Alex.

The two have sex up to seven times each day. She makes sure to have some fun, too.“We love foreplay and massages and, as well as full sex, I pleasure Alex, too," she told the magazine. "My bed is strengthened and, although I can’t buy sexy lingerie, I drape a nice sheet over me.”After meeting online in 2002, the couple married in 2005 and, when Potter failed to bond with Alex's son, the two split up three years later. The break-up triggered Potter's weight gain.

 She began consuming copious amounts of high-calorie foods and packed on the pounds.With all the extra weight on her, Potter became depressed. She contacted the Guinness Book of World Records in hopes that winning the title of "World's Heaviest Woman" would shame her into losing weight.

When Alex got wind of the publicity surrounding Potter, he decided to visit her and the flame was quickly rekindled. “Within the first day of being back together we had sex six times in 24 hours," Alex told the Sun last November. “Even though one of Pauline’s legs weighs more than I do, we’re able to position her body to make sex enjoyable for both of us

." Alex, who weighs just 140 pounds, does most of the work in the bedroom.“It’s really dangerous for us to have sex because at any moment the bed could collapse and one or both of us could be seriously injured or even killed from the impact," he told the Sun.But using sex for weight loss is not an unheard of activity. "Shagging can make you slimmer, if you do enough of it," Dr. Yvonne Kristin Fulbright, a sex educator, relationship expert, columnist and founder of Sexuality Source Inc., wrote for Fox News in 2008. "It can also help the two of you fall for each other all over again. Requiring no monthly fee — dress code optional – you can 'sexercise' yourself into shape.

   

Rick Ross received a hero’s welcome in Orleans USA

Rick Ross received a hero’s welcome when he rolled through New Orleans to shoot the TAJ-directed video for his latest street anthem “Hold Me Back.” The Bawse caused a commotion as he posed for photos with the locals. Swizz Beatz, Mia X, and Wale also stopped by the set to show love.

The song will appear on his upcoming album God Forgives, I Don’t. “When I wrote this record, I was writing it in the mind of a ni**a who may not have nothing,” said Rozay. “He could have started in the red, but that don’t determine where ni**a end up.”

He explained why he chose the NOLA as the backdrop for the video. “When I think about some of the people that had it the hardest in these recent years, it’s New Orleans,” he said. “Before I finished the record, I was like, ‘I need to shoot this video in New Orleans ’cause these some of the strongest people ’cause they won’t stop and they still representing, they still climbing.’”

2Face, M.I, Brymo And Others in UNITED SOUNDS OF AFRICA (USA) American Tour In August

Featuring the top names in the contemporary African urban and hip-hop scene, the United Sounds of Africa (USA) will kick off their first ever North American tour in August, 2012 with shows in select markets.  The tour, orchestrated by Interglobe Entertainment Group (IEG) and Live Nation, will introduce music fans on this side of the Atlantic to current African artists including headliner 2face Idibia, recently profiled on CNN as one of “Africa’s 10 Biggest Stars” and winner of the BET Network’s 2011 “Best African Artist” award.

“It’s a massive moment!,” says Hypertek Recording artist 2face of the tour.

“I’m proud to be joining 2face and everyone on stage as a part of this very first United Sounds of Africa tour,” says M.I., known to the media and fans as “Africa’s Best Rapper.” “I think American audiences will be blown away by the talent and diversity onstage and by how much the African music scene has to offer. These will be amazing shows.”

With the first stop on August 1 in Houston, TX, the tour will also feature Nigerian artists M.I. and Brymo, all signed to Nigerian record label Chocolate City. Other artists include Timi Dakolo, first-ever winner of Africa’s version of American Idol, J Martins, who’s popular in Africa’s francophone countries, and Iyanya, the first winner of MTN’s West African “Project Fame” reality TV show.

IEG created the USA project to bring the best African music vocalist/artists/composers together for a series of live performances uniting Africa’s diverse musical cultures. In addition, the USA tour will connect current African artists with those of the diaspora, continuing the legacy of such globally successful, African-born artists as Akon, Sade, K’naan and others.

Kim Kardashian reaches 10 million fans on Facebook: ‘Thank you all’

Tuesday afternoon Kim Kardashian reached another milestone in her social media presence. Posting a "thank you" to fans on her Celeb-Buzz blog, Kim proved her social graciousness in recognizing the fans on her Facebook account. Reaching the 10 million "Likes" milestone on Facebook is certainly an achievement, one that Kim can be proud of.


In addition to the 10 million "Likes," Kim Kardashian also has 603,533 people talking about her page. This is phenomenal and put in perspective; Justin Bieber has over 45 million likes with only 487,267 talking about the "Biebs" Facebook page. Kim is sure to be adding even more "Likes" soon, given the discussion level posted on her page. Kim already has over 15 million fans on Twitter.

Kim has a great photo album and many memories added to her timeline. Kim always has great postings; whether it is fashionable jewelry or photos of billboards proclaiming Kanye West the best. Proclamations of sisterly love and posters of "how important Aunts" are fill her page. What is next for the reality TV star? Those "Liking" her Facebook page will be the first to know.
