New kid on the block,Davido is set to release his debut album – O.B.O (Omo Baba Olowo) Genesis on Wednesday 18 July 2012 followed by his album launch concert in association with Flytime entertainment on Sunday 22 July at Eko Hotel Expo Hall, Lagos, Nigeria
Besides fulfilling his obligations as MTN Brand ambassador and attending school, Davido has been working hard on his hotly anticipated album, which will feature all of the young singer, writer and producer’s hit songs that includes “Back When” feat. Naeto C, pan-African chart topper – “Dami Duro” love song “Ekuro” and his latest single “Overseas” feat. his HKN label mate Sina Rambo. The 16 track O.B.O Genesis Album will also include collaborations from Nigerian music veteran, TuFace plus surefire hits with Ice Prince, May D, B-Red and K Switch.
The album launch concert is set to wow the audience with state of the art choreography, props and entertainment plus other top Nigerian artistes confirmed to perform at the high profile show that may turn the face of the music industry.
After tweeting about his dream car for a while, Davido finally got his wish – an An Audi Q7 sent straight to his doorstep.
‘New car tins! Oluwa dey bless me!‘, the pop star tweeted on Friday, June 13 along with a photo showing off his new toy. The car is reportedly worth between N7.5m and N10m.
