Rick Ross continues to build anticipation for God Forgives I Don't, his upcoming studio album (or, as it's known on Twitter, #GFID). But now he's not just demanding people change their Twitter photos to his album art: He's dropping tracks with Jay-Z and Dr. Dre.
"3 Kings," a new single off the Maybach Music Group boss' album, begins with Dre boasting that listeners are about to be treated to some "classic hip-hop sh-t." It's not an oversell: With a beat that's not afraid to sound like it is made by real instruments (take note, Lex Luger) and a Jay-Z verse that sounds like he found his late-'90s self, the song is a likely hit with old school hip-hop heads.
Added bonus: You get to hear Jay boast about Blue Ivy's socks.
Jake One (De La Soul, 50 Cent, Rakim) produced the song, which Funkmaster Flex premiered Thursday night (bombs and all). #GFID hits stores July 31.
